After a few nice bottle this weekend, tonight i opened a bottle of the 2012 Guy Breton Morgon. A nice Cru from the Beaujolais, made by a nice producer, inspirer by Lapierre and the nature style.
A very nice Gamay, and I like Gamay sinçe a long time. Nice medium red color, with a touch of purple. Nose is less spicy than Lapierre, but more dark red berries, very dark flowers (do that existe?), dark grape and more blackberries. Very intense and perfumed. In mouth, medium power, very violet flowers, darkberries, light blueberries, but stay very fresh and low tannins. Mouth is intense too, final is medium long, with more blueberries. I think this can age. Excellent, sublime gamay. TN: 90-91.
