Nice haul Mike. Those coupons, local Black Friday sales and BWE enablement drove me to the freeze thread.

Racer, i don't know when you plan to open that bottles of 2017 Château Talbot, but I'll be really looking forward what you think about it, as not that much BWEers are buying 2017.

I thought it was one of the very best 2017 in presence at UGC tasting Montréal.

We drank an unimpressive bottle of 2017 La Lagune last week. Maybe we'll try again in five years.

I have two now. Not sure when, but it will be a few years before I open one. My Cellartracker drinking window starts in 2023 but I doubt I'll open one that soon.
Ch. Talbot represents one of my biggest holdings at 42 bottles, and every vintage from 2009 to 2020, with a full case of 2014.

Doh! Won a single bottle of the 2005 Magdelaine just now. Pretty darn pricey ($138 all-in) but I wanted this one, buying freeze be (momentarily) damned.

Double doh!

Just won a 12 pack of the 2014 Niellon Chassagne Vergers for $78 a bottle all-in and a 6 pack of the 2016 Alzinger Riesling Hollerin Smaragd for $36 all-in.

In my pathetic defense, I bid on the Alzinger before the “freeze” started and my bid for the Niellon was so lowball I figured I had no chance of winning.

3x 2017 Ch. Labegorce
3x 2016 Ch. Peyrabon
3x 2015 Ch. Potensac
3x 2014 Ch Senejac

Fairly sharp pricing on these at Rye Brook Wine & Spirits.
I'm having lunch with JC in Greenwich tomorrow to receive my Comte Flaneur auction winnings,
So I'll save on shipping when I pick them up after lunch.

Like all serious wine buying freeze, mine did not last 24 hours.

2020 Gueguen and Pommier Chablis.
2019 Chateau le Clapier Luberon
2016 Tenuta la Novella Chianti Classico
2016 Joguet Chinon Clos du Chêne Vert

What a good mix, finishing in beauty with Joguet's Chinon

3x 2019 J.J. Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese.
When I entered it in Cellartracker I saw the tasting note from Keith Levenberg for the first time. 99 mind blowing points.
Thank you JC for the enablement!

This has always been my favorite in his stable, an archetype Chinon. So classic. I have not tried 15-18, the 14 is excellent.

Guys
I have promised myself not to buy any more en primeur stock, but today busted again and ordered 4 cases of red Burgundy 2020 on EP. Not sure where I will put them and the numerous cases of 2019 Bordeaux EP’s already ordered.

Producers were Chevillon, Jadot and Dubreil Fontaine.

Jal, if you open that Laurent Perrier Rosé NV soon, let me know what you think. This summer, when we haf many Champagne wines in one week, this was my favorite.

I also bought one bottle lately, and i am tempted by their Blanc de blancs NV nature.

Those Prum 2019s are amazing. Having tasted through the Wehlener and Graachers from kabinett to auslese, and auslese goldkap, may I suggest you pick up the Graacher spatlese, which I thought was slightly better than the Wehlener, and one of my two top wines of the entire sating.

Prices for these world class wines are ludicrously low.
