Rioja and CdP

Post by Nicklasss »

Tonight, both wines deliver The good.

The 2002 r Lopez Heredia Rioja was way better than The first bottle i opened a few weeks so. Medium red, light orange rime, complex nose, flowers, spices, oak infusion and lot of darkberries. Drink very well, mellowed, fruity, spicy long, i will buy one or two bottles. TN : 91-92.

The 2006 domaine de Pégau réservée is weird, dark brown red, i really thought The color was showing av default wine. But no, meaty, herbs, fruity, alcoholic, very nice nose. Mouth is long, complex, thyme, rec berries, dark berries, spicy alcohol, tannins, old school.mdusty final, tannic, blackberries. An excellent wine, completely different from The spanish, but as good. TN : 91-92.

Had those two with cassoulet, fit well.
