A little fiddling in CellarTracker allows a recap of what was drunk in the past year. For me, Bordeaux and Rhone were tied for first place:

Bordeaux 20%
Rhone 20%
California 14%
Champagne 12%
Germany 8%
Burgundy 7%
Spain 3%
South Africa 2%
Italy/Portugal/Hungary/Australia each 1%

What were your top regions consumed in 2014?

I did not drink enough Bordeaux in 2014, but I intend to make up for it in 2015.

My view:

California 23.2%
Champagne 17.9%
Rhône 17.9%
Bordeaux 17.3%
Burgundy 15.5%
Germany 3.6%
Piedmont 2.4%
Southwest France 2.4%

Biggest "aha" for me is that Burgundy was only 15.5%. I would have thought it higher. I am certainly buying more Burgundy than Bordeaux these days. Still enjoying Bordeaux - especially with my BWE buds.

Ed, I am in trouble if Lucie learns that 17.3% of the wines you and Lisa drink are Champagne.

In 2014, I drank more Burgundy and less German and Rhone wine than usual. I don't keep any records so this is just guessing:

Bordeaux 27%
Burgundy 23%
Germany 15%
Champagne 11%
Rhone 7%
California 4%
Italy 3%
Loire 2%
Oregon 2%
Virginia 2%
Spain 1%
South Africa 1%
Alsace 1%
Portugal 1%

I don't track those stats for myself, but will try to do it in 2015. I certainly opened more italian wines than previous years. And my Bordeaux consumption went down for sure, prices not helping that.

Me too I'm impressed by the % of Champagne drank by SF Ed. But i enjoyed Champagne many time in the last days and understand.

As you may remember, Lisa hates still white wines. That means we drink a lot of Champagne :)

Fortunately or unfortunately my cellar has narrowed its scope significantly with about 70% Bordeaux, 20% Burgundy, and 10% other mainly Spanish with a few Californian/Oregon, Argentinian Malbecs. I think there are a total of 12 sparkling/Champagne, 4 bottles of Italian, 4 Rhone, and no German/Portuguese etc. A few cases of every day drinking whites a mix of Albarino, NZ Sauv Blanc, pinot grigio and Gruner Vetliner along with a couple of cases of dessert wines mainly Sauternes. As a consequence the year has broken down with a high proportion of Bordeaux on the table amounting to 60-70%. Nice to have started drinking again over the holidays without a flair up of gout hindering our enjoyment. Even though Spain only accounts for about 10% of the cellar the total drinking is 20-30% with every day quaffers being replenished from time to time mainly being Spanish. Still think Spain is the QPR area of the world right now with some style for everyone.

Happy New Year

70% Bordeaux is just right for a true BWEer, Danny. Congratulations!

70% is indeed "true believer" status, Danny.

We consumed many cases of Bordeaux in 2014. Hopefully we don't get too many demerits for most of them being white?

Sadly, we probably tried more Bdx reds during the convention than during the rest of the year. But it was a great convention!!!

I'm in Tom's camp as far as Bordeaux reds though since I don't want to be shunned by the group, will try and improve my consumption this year.
