Les Baux de Provence.
A 2003, the burning vintage, grenache, syrah, cinsault, mourvèdre,...
A classic wine, very leather, cherries, red berries, a bit of meat. Mouth is straight, very nice tannins, cooked red berries, dusty, medium long, very drinkable. A wine with character. With the "bavette" of beef tonight, was just perfect.
Sunny Provence, can go with many meal, nothing velvety or glycerin or sweet, but genuine and untransformed.

Add tea, licorice, black pepper. Amazing nose.
