A Bordeaux Supérieur, from the 2010 vintage, 100% merlot, from the same Graves/argile from Pomerol, ...
An ok wine only. Less good than the 2007 Château d'Aiguilhe Querre from last weekend. Good color, merlot sweet fruit, sweet oak, not very powerful nose. Mouth is ok, but when I drink that wine, I understand why I need a bit of Cabernet, more body and structure. This is light red berry fruit, sweet oak, simple, very light tannins, very light warm alcohol. Even If only 20$, i think 10$ would be more fair... TN: 80. 2/3 bottle left...
I will probably open better bottles in the coming days, going to my brother place tomorrow for a few days.
