Found this today at trader joes for $25....any easy no-brainer
Popped and poured, opens fairly quickly
Nice aromas of earth, cigar box, leather and green tobacco
Good acidity, gives it some freshness on the palate, earthy cherry, plum and leather notes....very nice...has a nice classic profile that I enjoy...the only glaring negative is the clipped finish....overall a very well made claret

Re: Le demoiselle de sociando-mallet 2010
That's a weird wine to find at a TJ's. I know people out here say that they are good for wines, but I've never been impressed.
They do carry some spirits/cordials which are a touch harder to find (Lilllet, Campari etc.)
But that was before I moved out to the suburbs where even the better supermarkets have a solid selection, although perhaps thinner for Francophiles.
