Much less evolved than the '08 Montrose, much more rich, big, modern.
Still, no big awkwardness that one might expect at age 6, unlike that Talbot from the other night.
This has everything in place to age spectacularly for 40+ years.
It will be a great wine with a long evolution that will drink great at the ages of 10, 15, 20, 30, etc.
Truly worthy of its BWE Wine of the Year status. Mouth-filling but light on its feet.
Rating: 96 points.

Jimmy, you are on a roll with the TNs!

Glad to hear good things about this one. You might even get me to engage in a little vinfanticide.

Had this again when sharknato2 came out....I am very pleased with the progression of this wine...a tad heavy with the oak if I recall but very seductive...filling in nicely, coming into place..taste like what u would expect a margaux to perform like...I have been thinking about this bottle quite regularly ...local $79
