A beautiful wine, a Parker wine, but no concerns about out of whack alcohol, etc.
Great concentration, very expressive nose, long finish.
Very modern but nothing out of balance.
I'm assuming this must have been about 14.5%, but it might just as well have been 12.5%.

Looks like you are back in training for the upcoming France event.

All of the 2010's mentioned I bought for early drinking inexpensive quaffers. 11 cases of a mix of 6-12 bottles per.I agree with what you've said but still think they are very young and need a few more years to enjoy fully but drinking well with food right now. They'll soften up a bit more and shed some of the tannins. Not interested in developing complexities with these but agree they are drinking well and very enjoyable now. Don't think they've got 10+yrs but that 5-10 yr window is what I'm looking forward to. These right bankers from St Emillion in 2010 have been high quality at a very reasonable price.

It's been a long time, but the 03 La Confession was a bummer.

I do confess to loving all the Jaouniex labels though.
