TN: 2010 Cap de Faugeres

Post by JimHow »

I uncorked this last after the big boys that we drank during the course of the night, and it more than held its own.
I seem to have always had good luck with this estate, which can usually be had for $20 or less.
This may have been the best showing yet for this wine that I've probably had a half dozen or so times.
Good depth, no shallowness in the mid-palate. Everything nicely in place.
Rating: 91 points.

I drank a lot of the 95-00 vintages of this, but have not had any in a long long time. I think they must be making better wines now, with the new owners.
