TN: 2010 Fleur Cardinale

Post by JimHow »

A bit hot and tannic but it smoothed out pretty quickly.
This is a real strong effort, again, like La Confession, modern and alcoholic but not unpleasantly so.
Deep purple color.
Maybe just a bit more of a bite to it than La Confession.
A stunning, sexy beauty.
Rating: 93 points.

I love almost all 2010's. Love the bite they have compared to the lush 2009's.

I don't think I've ever tried this house. There does seem to be some of this vintage around locally.

2005 and 2009 are both great. I have a couple cases of the '05, and on Jim's and others' suggestions I got a case of the '09. As Jim notes, it is a modern-styled wine.
