Domaine de Chévalier rouge Graves GCC 2003: Very hard to imagine this is a 2003! What a stunning wine and by no means showing the heat of the vintage. Cinnamon, licorice, plum pie, cedar, creamy oak, soft bitters and tannins. Fresh, alive and kicking and with a 'full body'.Sublime (added?) acidity given the circumstances. Finished slightly shorter than expected, but that was its only very minor 'fault'. Wish I had a case of this. 92 points

I think it it is time to acknowledge that this is an excellent vintage on the left bank.
