Château Lynch-Moussas Pauillac 5eme GCC 2007: Lynch-Moussas always has been a château that seemed to perform below par, like Pédesclaux and Croizet-Bages in the same appellation. But this is just a very good, well-composed wine. The first 2007 I had without the balsamico-notes I don't really need in wine. Typical Pauillac nose with cassis, oak, licorice, pine forest and cream. On the palate lots of black fruit, leather, coffee beans, cedar and just in perfect composed balance. Good finish. This is the attractive and easy-going wine most people will just love to the last drop. 90 points

They're ok in peak vintages. 96 & 00 were solid. They can age too.
I didn't realize til I left a major wine market that this estate isn't going to be super prevalent in smaller markets
