Château Reverdi Listrac-Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2009: Ripe nose with plum, cherry, lavender, pine, vanilla and a bit of cream. On the palate tasty and with solid, ripe tannins. Licorice, black cherry, oak, fresh pepper, spices, espresso. Some heat (14,5% ABV) towards the long finish. Good mouthfill, acidity and structure. Not overripe, yet on the modern and lush side. Commercial? Made for the long run (guess it lacks the fruit for that)? Who cares, it's a fine wine to sip here and now. 88 points
