2012 Duckhorn Decoy

Post by stefan »

The BD, bless his black heart, demanded that we post notes on everything we drink. The host of a business dinner ordered 2012 Decoy at a restaurant. After tasting, I decided to drink a bit to wash down my overcooked lamb chops. The flavor is not objectionable and two glasses of it have not given me a headache. 2012 Decoy is not worse than what you get in first class on domestic flights. There are many better choices of Bordeaux blends at $15 retail.

Well done my subject Stefan. Well done. You have captured the spirit of "Post Your Tasting Notes" Month.

Let's see. Columbia, MO? Overcooked lamb chops. Duckhorn Decoy. I can relate. Grew up less than 200 miles from there.
