Seems still remarkably youthful.

Is this considered a "village" wine?
I like it, it has that Fixin thing going on.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm ready for some baseball!

John Updike's famous piece on Ted Williams:

It got up to 61 degrees today, but it's supposed to get cold again tomorrow. :(

I absolutely loved this wine.
It is amazing how young it is.
Actually, not that amazing, as I have always been impressed by the ageability of Burgundy and predicted this about the 2005s in particular.
The color shows absolutely no signs of aging.
It has been sitting in my cellar since I bought it upon release.
Looks like I have another 3 or 4 bottles down there, I think I'll be wasting them if I drink them before the 20 year mark.
As I predicted, these 2005 Burgs are 50 year wines.
The beauty of this wine is how classic it is: Earthy, spicy, so true to that particular section of Burgundy.
Wish I had a case of this!
It seems barely evolved since we drank those mouth-puckering 2005s with HM$ at the BD welcome reception a few years back, where we when we drank those wines, in DC?
So classic.
