Favorite Brunello?

Post by Blanquito »

I don't drink much Brunello, but a few bottles over the last year have been head-turners. In particular, Lisini has impressed me, both the single vineyard Ugolaia and the normale Brunello.

I've also enjoyed Brunello from Il Poggione and Uccelleiera. The one try I had from Valdicava was impressive, though perhaps leaning towards the modern end of things.

What else is good, especially more traditional producers who avoid lots of new oak and Syrah in the blend ( :D )?
