Wow, I haven't seen prices that good on SM in a very long time. Hopefully this is a trend and not a fluke.

Is this one of their "must-live-close-enough-to-pick-up" sales, where they can't/won't ship?

This is shippable, so far as I can see. I placed an order anyway and I'll let you know what happens. It would make for a nice "anyweek" wine, at least in my house.

That price caught my eye as well, I thought it was half bottles at first. Last time I checked Binny's didn't ship to Maine.

Buy, you lucky chaps, buy. If you can be bothered to look up my note on the old site - no, don't bother - just buy!
Think: better than GPL, Brane etc - and I love both of those and 04s generally and bought heavily.
Soc Mallet is/was my bargain of the vintage (followed by Durfort Vivens at a much lower price) - only rival is the amazing Langoa (see my note - no, don't bother!) but the price of that is now much higher (at least in UK).
04s are lovely. Think 01 succulence with 02 structure - wnen they're good - and most of them are. Why buy 08s - these are here, ready, and can be still bargains like this.

After my recent Burgundy and St Innocent purchasers, I need a breather. When I look next, it will be for Bordeaux. I hope I find some deals as good as this one!
