But did enjoy Pamela Popo and Au Port du Salut and caddy corner from Au Port du Salut is a Green Bay Packer bar I shit u not, but my favorite place was the tiny speak easy buried down a desolate cobble stone street Experimental Cocktail Club, low key, cool people...for more action the underground club owned by director David Lynch 'Silencio'

Enjoy guys

Hello BWE,
I will join Jim and some friends tonight for a dinner in Paris.
So long no see !
I will bring with me the pictures of the trip we made 10 years ago !
Bouchard in Beaune, Chateau Margaux, Léoville Las Cases, Fargues, Lynch-Bages, Malartic-Lagravière, Canon Lagaffelière, Clos Fourtet and some others, including the laboratory of Michel Rolland, with some memories for ever.

It seems so long ago !

Since this trip, I have continued my trip in the world of old wines, which give me unparalleled pleasures.
I will be very happy to meet Jim, Tim, Dany and Larry tonight.

Friendly wishes to all members of BWE

you should have told there is a special guest tonight in Paris! Of course, do Mes Sincères Salutations to Mr. Audouze.

I wish both crew (Paris and Bordeaux) lots of fun tonight. tomorrow I'll be there, so the serious-boring part start there.

Not only has Francois uncorked a mystery wine that I immedustely identified as the 89 Lynch, he has invited us to his cellar. I'm in heaven!

Don't worry Bobby G if Francois and the BWE gang started at his cellar and went at it hard drinking nothing but pre 60s vintages we'd see the next century easily without coming up for air. I've seen large collections before but this man truly has a collecting disease in a major way. To see thousands of memorialized bottles lined up like dead soldiers with row on row of DRC, Y'Quem, great growth Bordeaux etc occupying an entire floor of a building you know there is something more than passion going on. Was a real treat last night to see this cellar but even more fun getting back together with the gang sharing a few good bottles and laughs. Notes to come after shower and breakfast!!

Nalan and I just landed at the BWE-HQ, Mercure Le Lac, room 419.

We brought sand to the beach. A few tidbits that even Francois might consider trying. Let's hope they show despite the travel from San Francisco.
