First dinner at La Tupina

Post by Nicklasss »

Great introduction to the week, the dinner at La Tupina was excellent, and it was a good time for me to meet Harry C. And ComteFlaneur and See back all the regulars. In the crowded, not Easy to jeep track of everything, but more chat with everyone this week.

The wines short list:
1983 Château Pichon Lalande (good but That bottle was at the end of it plateau)
1955 Château Léoville Poyferré (have seen betterave days, but a strong mineral finish)
1993 Château Haut-Brion (in mag, very excellent, probable my second favorite)
1978 Château Ducru Beaucaillou (a very Nice wine, at a Nice spot)
2012 Aubert Lauren vineyard Chardonnay
2012 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay
1975 Château Cheval Blanc (a mag, simple very glorious lady night)
1955 Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac
1998 Château La Mission Haut-Brion (a mag, excellent, starting to develop on the n'ose, but very Young in the mouth)
1988 Château Latour (very darkberries, and full of élégance)
Mystery wine (saline, darkberries red berries, very intriguing) that was a négociant 1959 Pétrus.
1976 Château La Lagune
1988 Château Raymond Lafon (great but very différent from the next one)
1995 Château d'Yquem (great but very heavy last night)
1996 Château Pontet Canet (what a Nice genuine 1996 Médoc)

Was a very instructive night.
