Video: BWE visits La Conseillante.

Post by JimHow »

We had a great meeting with wine maker Jean Michel Lapointe.

His right bank brashness and energy was quite a contrast to the conservative presentations of the left bank.

A very different energy on the right bank.

Has Jean-Michel Laporte not left La Conseillante?

Maybe the owners keep him till after Vinexpo?

No.

He leaves end-June.

Pity he has done great work to transform the estate. I am sure he will do extremelywell wherever he lands.

Fabulous tour.

More later.

I love what J-M has done at La Conseillante and hopefully whoever takes over will do as good a job.
I remember two verticals and my visit to taste the 2010 primeurs with him fondly.
