Enfin! Some slightly warm weather around here. Time for some red, not too concentrated, from south of France.
The 2012 Clos de la Procure, is an organic wine, made by the easiest techniques, by Emanuelle Dupéré (from Québec) and Laurent Barrera (from France). It is a Côtes de Provence, and even if cab sauvignon is allowed, this don't have any. Grenache, Carignan, mourvèdre, cinsault and Syrah. Medium red, the nose is restrained on some rasberries, blueberries and some light wood. Mouth is light to medium power, on blueberries, violet grapes, blackcurrants, ink, light tannins. Final is long, return of blueberries and some very Black fruits. Well made and austere, blue rasberries finish. Tn: 88. Very perfumed In mouth.
