For the metrically-challenged, that's nearly 106°F.

Spring was coolish, but very dry.
But we seem to be making up for it.

Maybe those of you who live in Texas, California, and Florida see temperatures like this often, but you have to go back to 2003 in Bordeaux.

Our east coast heat wave ( Bermuda high ) has drifted over to you.
It may last two weeks.

Ya'll must have gotten some of our heat just as we have gotten most of the west coast moisture. Where I live in Texas it may not break 90F all week.

I guess things are heating up all over Europe and not just in Greece

The heat wave in South asia killed more than 2000 while the place I live in the midwest received the highest June rainfall in the last hundred years...

My poor car has a digital thermometer. It would not work in Vermont and Quebec since it was too cold. It stops working at -20F.

And now out here its vexed again, apparently conking out at I think 108F, since I never see readings above that, just its unhappy digital blankness.

If we get a repeat of 1990 or 2003 in Bordeaux I'd be happy.

And then we can all play the "mad scramble for Montrose" game again. Sigh.

My wife spied BillP stocking up on swill at Costco today. Beating the heat and the high prices of the high street!

My giddy aunt! That is hot.

I was so relieved we had mild weather for the Tour of the Century.

I guess our 34C 93F in London tomorrow looks refreshingly cool by comparison.

Maybe you should become a gentlemen vintner and make a small fortune* growing pinot noir there?

* by investing a large fortune of course
