From June 24th to July 5th, holiday brought me to my brother's place, Niagara Falls and some other friends in Montréal. Back to work, everythings crazy (new scubbing technology patent pending) and now building a patio at my house, to busy to post on BWE.
Some wines i had, i recommend:
2010 Château du Tetre: darker, more concentrated than 2009, will hold for a longer time, but will be great.
2012 Chareau les Charmes Godard: a white Bordeaux from Côtes de Francs. Amazing for the price, better than the 2013 Château Bel-Air.
2013 Spruçewood Estate Riesling: a wine from Ontario, Lake Erié shore, south of Windsor, 12$. Very good, ripe with low acidity. Unexpected but exçellent.
2014 Domaine de la Charmoise: Gamay from Mr Marionnet, Loire, fruity, light, summer red, but very satisfying, every vintages.

Good wines from the last weeks
Re: Good wines from the last weeks
The rieslings from the Northeast area seem to be getting more press.
German rieslings feel like they have gotten a bit more premium in their pricing, at least to me.
I have not reloaded on those in a long time, and was surprised how much more some producers cost compared now.
Do you have any favorite NY ones?
