I'm getting very concerned that this sociopath will actually win. A few months ago I thought the second sentence of this Mencken quote was funny. But the first sentence and the very real prospect of a Trump presidency has me truly afraid for our country for the first time since the Cuban missile crisis.

Yes I plan on doing some blogging, although I'll miss much of the pre game festivities as I have to attend a meeting in my capacity as benevolent dictator of the Coalition Opposed to Lewiston-Auburn Consolidation (COLAC).

Remember, Trump usually trounced in the internet polls following each of the primary debates, even in the ones he clearly lost. And the expectations will be low for him. Should be fascinating to watch. Can he, does he even want to, appear presidential….

Well, the most important thing that will or will not happen in this debate is a coughing fit.

A boring beginning. Donald looks good tonight, looks like he has lost a little weight, his face doesn't look red and bloated.

Opening statement round goes to Trump.
Hillary looks tired, pale, is it sexist to say she looks just a touch overly made up?

Hillary laughing at Donald's joke. Ugh. Not good.

Donald dominating the first ten minutes.
Hillary rebounds with strong answer reminding us of what it was like under Bush.
She's strongest when she attacks Donald.

Hillary counter-punches strong. "Donald thinks global warming is a hoax perpetuated by the Chinese…."

This is not the Donald of the primary debates.
20 minutes in, I give a slight margin to Donald.
"You've been doing this for 30 years…."

Donald looking slightly perturbed.
hillary smiling in her response.

Donald going on attack on Nafta and TPP.
And here we go…
20 mins in, the gloves come off.
"Donald I know you live in your own reality."

Donald is gonna have to be careful, he may be pissing off women attacking the woman.

Hillary keeps her cool under the Trump assault.

Donald on verge of losing it.

Trump unhinged already.

Half hour in. After strong first ten minutes, Donald losing control in last 15 minutes.
Can you imagine this as president.
