Meanwhile, the 2010 Momtazi gains strength and the nose continues to improve. The taste will certainly not catch that of the 2009, but the gap between the wines narrows.

Trump looking like a fool.

Barring something catastrophic, she is doing herself great benefit tonight.

A lot of people in addition to Donald Trump are complaining about the rigging of things in all its various forms. For example many blame the DNC for rigging the nomination for Clinton. No one, to my knowledge has claimed that the Republican nomination was rigged (or if it was, we understand that Trump gained the nomination despite this). But see, Donald Trump is what you get when you DON"T rig the system. That's alarming.

Loss of jobs. Trade imbalance. China.
He rebounds.
His best answer yet.

"She is a nasty woman."

Hey, she egged him on with the quip about him finding a way to dodge the Medicare tax. So, just like everything else bad that people have accused Donald of doing, it is actually Hillary's fault. He wouldn't have said she was nasty except she baited him. Her surrogates in the media and among the women who have accused him of sexual assault? She has put them up to these accusations. Billy Bush and Howard Stern "egged him on" to say mean-spirited things. The violence at Trump rallies? All instigators acting directly under her control. He uses deductions, loss carryforwards and so forth to pay not income taxes? Hillary's fault, why hasn't she changed the tax laws?

It wasn't me. I didn't do it.

Flipping through the channels. I must look at the world really differently from most people. There are some commentators who thought he put in a strong performance, although there seems to be universal agreement that he blew it on the issue that the election is rigged. To me, she just completely outclassed him.

The two big issues that seem to have killed him:

1. Unwilling to accept the election results.
2. "She's such a nasty woman."

Hard to see how he expanded his base tonight.

Well of course he made some important points, and bigly, like hanging Syria on her (no surprise there) and stuff but on his side he is nothing but platitudes ("we're going to create such an economic machine") and he demonstrates his personal unfitness for office about every three minutes.

He's toast. I'll say one thing, I could not take anymore of the CNN coverage with those two Trump stooges and their absolute refusal to deal with reality. CNN must be paying them a shit load of money to humiliate themselves, at least I hope so. If they're sincere in their defense then they truly are morons. Thank God for Charley Rose.

By the way, what is the big deal about pledging to accept the results of the election? It seems to me we have very recent precedent of a presidential candidate not accepting the results of and commencing litigation over it. Good for the goose, good for the gander? If Trump has evidence of fraud I would expect or perhaps even demand that he challenge the results, in the name of democracy.

Amen, Gerry.
Fox actually has some good reporters in their news division, it's just their prime time stars who are crazy (except for my girl Megyn, but she'll probably go mainstream when her contract is up).

Hound:
I agree with you, except the Donald has been calling the whole process "rigged."
It is clear what he has been doing.
Our whacko governor said yesterday that he thinks the results in Maine are rigged… Maine. Like the cleanest state in the world.
Trump is trying to usurp American Democracy.
This is not Al Gore in 2000.
He's pulling stuff we see in banana republics.
Not recognizing election results.
Threatening to jail political opponents.
He is trying to scare people… and they're buying it.
Scary stuff.
The headlines are warranted.
We are in unprecedented territory here, since at least 1864.
Check out the conservative Wall Street Journal tonight. (Not to mention the NYT, which is having a nervous breakdown.)
They're going crazy (against Trump) over there.
With good cause.
