Got my girls for a week.
Katherine is special. Think "Rain Girl".
But so much fun.
Most know Claire.
Got a bunch of Carolina shrimp.
Scampi ready to go.
Some nice French Sauvignon Blanc. La Petite Perriere
Have a bud with a pool lined up for the week.
Kat loves swimming.
Another pal has horses and donkeys so headed out there Wednesday.
There's a "History of The Guitar" display at Discovery Place.
Did a good steak the other night at Ruth Chris with a good musician/friend.
1994 Montelena and 1994 Peter Michael Les Pavots
Les Pavots was sheer smooth richness. Montelena had a little more acid and minerals.
BOTH great with steaks!
Let the good time roll!
Life is good!

Great Rob. Life is truly good. Shot 70 today and 69 last week on the course. Fabulous afternoon with friends from Bulgaria and wines to boot from Bulgaria. No idea what I drank but I must say what ever it was it was better than average. Good friends, good golf, amazing wife but back to work tomorrow. Well nothing is perfect!

Re: Life is good!
Back from New Orleans where we ate and drank well. Spent Friday night wandering around the quarter hearing some great cover bands playing all kinds of music. The last band of the night was 20 years olds playing depression era music and playing it well. A great meal at Herbsaint wrapped things up Saturday after a visit to the New Orleans museum of art (some excellent Monets on display) and their fun sculpture garden. And oh yes, my dad got married at age 88.5! The heat was stifling though.
On Wednesday, it's off to sunny California for my wife's aunt 70th anniversary of entering her order.
