2013 Mâcon-Uchizy Cuvée La Martine Bret Brothers

A nice white. Chilled, with a nice hold color, that Chardonnay has a distinctive nose of confit lemon, orange skin, white flowers and very light oak and vanilla. In mouth, the Chardonnay character is more an evidence, with pear flavors, very light tangerine, minerals, with a very good and fresh finish on rocks and green lemon. Just a bit of fat. Organic wine, only 11.5 % alcohol (unusual today for Chard), it is a very good summer wine, for a warm day. Went well with the tuna salad. Tn: 88.

I also bought one bottle of their Mâcon-Chardonnay, and plan to open it soon.
