2010 Château le Puy

AOC Côtes de Bordeaux, Bordeaux Côtes de Franc in the past. Amoreau family, making organic wines since a long time there, 85 % merlot, 14% cabernet sauvignon and 1% carmenère.

Light cloudy medium red, a bit like last night Côte-Rôtie. Nose completely different, with tomato paste, red berries, old strawberries, muscad and cherries. Light refined nose. Mouth is medium to light, with good tannins. Mainly some red berries, cranberries, earthy minerals, light cinnamon. No oak, no plums, claret style merlot. Good acidity. A good wine, red Bordeaux, for a warm day. Tn: 86.
