These two wines are really splendid. That '02 Branaire is really, really in a chocolately heavenly good place right now.
And the 2010 Cantemerle is a legend in the making, get your hands on some.

Well done, Blanquito, VERY well done indeed.
I've drunk about 20 bottles and I'm planning on buying two more cases.

Wow, over a case and a half and the wine is just a few years old! It goes for about $50 around here. Is that good, bad or ugly?

That $49.99 at MacArthur's is what I am going to buy two cases of.

FWIW, David, I got all of mine from PC for $36, ordered in March 2013 after all the big in-bottle scores had come out from the critics and all delivered on Nov. 3rd 2013 (record time!).

The BD shoots... (if Jimmy can do it, so can I!)

...and Blanquito makes the save. (It woulda been more fun without the voice of reason.)

Price aside, Patrick have you tried one of these yet? I know Jim's penchant for young Bordeaux. You tend to like them with a bit of age. Is this a wine that needs to lay down for 10 years or is it giving pleasure now? Does it promise to reward cellaring?

Good to read about Cantemerle. Have a couple bottles of both 09 and 10, but will be patient. When will the 10 be at its peak??

I tried a bottle of the 2010 last year. Not hard or closed, but it was too young and grapey for where I like my claret. It did seem very promising though with an extra gear than Cantemerle usually has. I'm glad I have a bunch of this, I'll probably try again in 4-5 years.

P.S. Sorry for the bit of anti-enablement there. I have lots of practice doing that, I try each day to buy no more wine!
