Very dark and dense purple color; nose of ripe black fruit and some fresh meat; popped-and-poured, it started tight and tannic but revealed, at the 1.5 hour mark, another well-structured Bordeaux, showing lean but ripe fruit with good balance, some elegance and unmistakably Right Bank in taste. This is the best showing of this wine for me. Another pleasant reminder to me that there’s quite a lot to be optimistic about with those under-$30 ‘00Bdx that I was able to stash away.

I've always been a fan of Moulin Saint George, especially the rather simple font on the lable for a really nice wine :)
