2000 Les Ormes de Pez, Saint Estephe

Les Ormes de Pez has alway been one of my favorite Bordeaux's, but I have no idea why. This 2000 was once an angry young man who closed his business down. It has now blossomed into a very good wine, with plenty of clay on the nose and a deep core of cherry. Some cherry pit in there too. This ain't no 1990 Les Ormes, but is very good and drinking well now. 90 pts
