2014 Domaine de la Bergerie, white Anjou, Sous la tonnelle.
A very good white, made of Chenin, mineral. Very light yellow color, very refined nose of acidity confit lemon, shell, light bitter apples, and light hazelnuts. In mouth, very fresh and minerals, stick to the palate, some fruits but hard to define. Long kind of chalky Green lemon. I like the style and very well made. Tn:88.

2014 white Anjou
Re: 2014 white Anjou
I lived in Anjou for a year and a half.
The wines represent excellent value for money.
They are sold for a pittance in the region of production.
Suprisingly, some of these modest (in terms of price and reputatin) white wines can age and improve tremendously.
The best ones tend to be "tendre", i.e. slightly sweet.
