My money is on an earlier harvest to deal with higher temps before they start replacing the Merlot vines.

Agree with David - these guys couldn't reclassify for 160 years, how on earth will they agree to change grapes???

There was a piece in the New York Times this week on the acidification of the oceans. We're all doomed.

Which estates are using more petit verdot now?

the only ones i know of are Belle-Vue and Pichon Lalande.

P-L seems to have gotten severe criticism for this unorthodox blend.

I am looking forward to the 2015 wines, since I like the ripe vintage years.
