Even in Bordeaux last May, producers were not easy on their 2013. Just Alfred Tesseron in Pontet Canet wanted to have a bit more grape in 2013.
I bought one magnum of the 2013 Chateau Montrose, en primeur, because it is Béatrice birthyear, but don't plan to buy more 2013 and hope the Montrose will be good in 16 years...
I opened a niçe wine tonight, that probably drink better than any 2013 Red Bordeaux. The 2010 Jadot Corton Pougets is still young, but it is very Bourgogne and very Côte de Beaune. Color is clear to medium red. Nose is powerful, with red berries, light oak, vanilla, soft spices, sweet rasberries candy, light cinnamon and flowers. In mouth, thick, redberries perfumed attack, roasted cherries, noble wood, ripe tanins, and a tannic mineral and slightly gamey finish. A Vine wood vegetal character In mouth Too. Light austerity on the final. A very nice wine, from Bourgogne largest Grand Cru. But will definitely be better in 10 more years. Tn: 92+.
I should probably buy some more.

A strong blackcurrant flavor is emerging, some smoke too. A strong wine.
