Received my parents and inlaws tonight.

Good Time, good chicken, and two good wines.

2015 Stéphane Aviron Gamay Nouveau: vin de France, decent, and yes, makes you think 2015 Will get something. Medium red, full of red fruits, candy, with a niçe presence In mouth. Flowers, some light bitterness, very drinkable. No faut here. Tn: 84.

2012 El Hombre Bala: grenache from around Madrid. Light red color, lighter than
Pinot. Nose is candy confit cherries, white pepper, red berries. In mouth, kind of very light CdP, with lot of Grenache. Kirsch candy cherries, light sweet spices, herbs and that blueberry return In mouth. Not very complex, not very spanish, but excellent style. Tn: 88.

The 12 year old Highland Park dram was smoky, peaty, salty, honey, spicy, crazy good scotch.

I had an Aviron cru beaujolais earlier this year - very sharp to my taste. But ok with food.
