St.Emilion - end of nightmare/Climens vertical

Post by greatbxfreak »

I'm very surprised that nobody posted news about French government passing a law about 1996 classification standing with 2006 classification upgrades - 2 properties upgraded to PGCC and 6 properties upgraded to GCC. Properties degradated in 2006 classification are still where they were in 1996. Clever solution and everybody is happy! :D

I've finally put my TNs about Climens vertical on my website - they're to be found in both Sauternes and Barsac chapter and in Climens profile. In the latter there are pictures from the tasting. :ugeek:

Concerning the 5 vintages of Yquem I tasted in April 2009 at the chateau - 2005, 4, 3, 2 and 1, check out my profile of this property. :ugeek:

Maybe post the notes here or at least post links to the articles, to make it easy for us to find?

Izak,

These much have been some very impressive tastings!

Can I draw the conclusion from your notes and scores that you consider Climens to be of at least the same level of quality as d' Yquem?

I was already on the lookout for some Climens 1971 (my birth year) and will be looking even harder given your tasting note and perfect score.

Kindest regards,

Chris
