TN 2004 Haut Brion

Post by jal »

We took the 2004 Haut Brion to one of the good restaurants in Tel Aviv. Good stemware, great food, but the wine was just humming, not singing. Nose is a little shy, color is bright ruby, on the palate all the elements are there but the fruit is hiding. I have had much better 2004s and much better Haut Brions. Probably needs a few more years but I was a bit disappointed. 91
