TN: 1997 Lynch Bages

Post by Jay Winton »

Brought into a restaurant after viewing Star Wars in 3D (very enjoyable movie). While not a lot of depth, it was a very smooth ride with good fruit and the best of the half case I bought when Bassins dumped this vintage in the early 2000s. Drink 'em if you got 'em but I think it will hold for a while. B/B+

Ian, I would call it an excellent "lunch" claret. Not profound by any means but quite quaffable. The color on the bottle was excellent with no signs of bricking so there is life ahead!
