A Puisseguin Saint-Émilion, from Baron Eric de Rothschild. 80% merlot, 20% cabernet franc. Nice dark red color, with a nice nose of dark berries, tobacco, licorice, vanilla roasted oak. In mouth, light cherry fruits, dark berries, switch to earth, bitter blackberries, light vegetal note and oak. Good tannins, good freshness, perfumed final. A well made wine, healthy and structured 2012 satellite of Saint Émilion. For 20$, surely can't complaint, with light austerity. Tn: 89.

I bought that wine tonight, but also some 2009 Chateau La Fleur Pourret, a Saint Émilion Grand Cru own by the Manoncourt family. Never heard about it or tried before. Hope it will be a "little" Figeac...
