I just checked the cellar, I can't find the Montevetrano vintages above which I think must be off-site, but I did find the 2001 Montevetrano, so I will bring that in addition to the Taurasi.

Since we are at an Italian restaurant, I am tentatively thinking about a couple of Brunellos - a 1999 Livio Sassetti and a 2001 Ciacci Piccolomino. Subject to change, of course.

mmmm I was just looking to order the 2010 Ciacci Piccolomino and other 2010 Brunellos from Zachy's.

I purchased that in 97,99 and 01, and thought they were all good. I think it tends to be a bit on the modern side and approachable young with lots of fruit. I'm guessing that the 2010 would be very good, given the vintage.
