Organizing a DC '16 trip to MacArthur's

Post by JimHow »

I've never been to the place. I'm planning on ordering a bunch of Bordeaux and Chateauneuf du Pape to take home so I may drive my car there from the hotel. Do they have parking readily available there Chris et al?

Yes, easy to get metered spot right next to the store. Free parking on neighborhood street a block from the store. Parking is not problem at MacArthur.

Good idea, Jim. I'll join you if you have room in your car.

You should probably call them a few days in advance and ask if they have any forgotten bottles in the warehouse. Used to be there was interesting stuff there that only intermittently would find its way to the retail shelves.

Yes, they may have to move your purchases from their other warehouse so give them a few days notice.

There's a great restaurant-Black Salt -right next to MacArthur's. Would be a great place for lunch.
