Just about two weeks to go til BWE convention time!

As you know, our Saturday night dinner is Bordeaux themed.

We have discussed matching the 1996 vs. 1986 vintages, but of course attendees can bring whatever you want from any vintage.

Thanks again to Tom and Gail, Chris and Jay for all of the hard work. I can't wait!

I have a bunch of 86's.
Some 96's. May bring some 1996 Cantemerle.

I'm thinking 1986 Gruaud Larose and maybe 1996 Lynch Bages and Pichon Baron

I'll bring the 1996 Lynch and 1996 Pontet Canet, plus something special from another vintage.

I like how the thinking is going so far.

If I can get that far into the pile, I'll bring a couple of bottles of '86 Pape-Clement. This has been showing well for a lot longer than most 86's.

And we'll have other (hopefully interesting) things in tow.

I plan to bring a 1996 Sociando Mallet in magnum in honor of the first BWE Wine of the Year. And I will bring something else hopefully of interest.

Probably bring some Cordiers.

I'm still bringing the 86 Rausan Segla + something else or two.

Mmmm saturday night looks like it is shaping up nicely.
