2014 Pinot Bianco Alois Lageder

I plan to open more white wine this year. I think that in the last 10 years, the affordable white have improved a lot.

Like this wine tonight, opened with sushis. It is not a great wine, but it is a very good wine for the price. Very light yellow color, with blueish rim. Aromas of light white flowers, green apples, starfruit, x. Mouth is flowery, more neutral than the nose, but will some almond, green melon, green lemon flavors. Deçent flowery finish. Innofensive, but at the same time efficient wine. Tn: 86-87.

Today, i bought some South Africa chenin/grenache blanc blend, some Soave and some Riesling dry from Austrisch. Need some exotism!

I have appreciated Pinot Blanc/Bianco more over the past few years. Northern Italy has some good ones.
