I'm going to be honest…
I'm disappointed in issue 224.
Twenty-fifteen.
This was an opportunity for Neal Martin to break out.
Like Parker did with the '82 vintage.
Like Suckling did in January 1997 in that article about the 1995 Bordeaux vintage.
2015 was the opportunity for Neal Martin to break out of the shadow of He Who Shall Remain Nameless.
He didn't do it, in my humble opinion.
Certainly, at least, in his approach to the by any measure exciting right bank.
Issue 224… As boring as a 1993 Batailley…..
Big disappointment.
