A little Chidaine vouvray petillant in the hammock with the Mrs. on a beautiful day.

We are grilling steaks too....perhaps a 1990 Lynch Bages or 1995 Pichon Lalande.....any suggestions from the crowd?

The 1989 La Dominique hit all the right notes.
Perfect cork.
Great bright ruby color.
Wonderful nose.
Silky smooth mouth feel.
By itself was not fruit forward at all. Made me wonder......................

Then with a perfectly grilled dry aged Porterhouse it showed its stuff
Nice deep core of fruit.

I'm a firm believer that Bordeaux needs a meal.
