San Francisco offline - Sat 27 Aug - with Jonathan P

Post by Michael-P »

Looks like Jonathan P may be in the area the end of next month, so what better excuse to gather some BWEers for dinner and wine?

Anyone around, available, interested?

Let me check with the SO.

If you need a venue, Gamine's private room holds about 8.

Food is good there.

SF Ed:

I think your table is too small since we are about 7 right now and potentially more.

Napa only works if some people are willing to sleep on an air mattress.

Shall we look for a San Francisco restaurant? Gamine's?

I will have to pass but thank you for posting this. It's been a couple of long weeks traveling and I have too much on my plate at the moment.

This is now set with 10 folks, including not only me and Lisa and MichaelP and Nalan, but the long lost aimeedogdog (Werner) and Chris and CabFan (Peter) and Victoria, along with the legendary Jonathan P and my friend Sharli.

We're thinking 2000 Bordeaux as the theme, but I am sure there will be some older wine too ;)

We'll be warming up for BWE 2017 in the spring!

Looks fabulous! Only which I could teleport myself to SF this coming weekend. Say hello to these (since a few years) offline BWEers, Cabfan and aimeedogdog. I hope one day i'll have the luck to meet Jonathan P as well.

Nice to see the old time BWEs back in the fold! I spread the gospel of BWE far and wide during our visit to Seattle and Vancouver!
