Red wine reduces cholesterol.

I had my first checkup since my cardiac catheterization in February.
Now granted, I've been eating healthy, I've lost about 15 pounds.
I've been exercising. And my doctor added Zetia to my regimen of six drugs for high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
But… I've also tried to fit a little more red wine into the equation. Instead of 1-2 bottles per week, I've been drinking 2-3 bottles per week.
My LDL "bad" cholesterol is down to 110, which is an unheard of figure for me, it dropped over 100 points since February.
My HDL "good" cholesterol has been a constant battle for us. No matter what I have done diet wise, exercise wise, etc., we just haven't been able to elevate it. It is supposed to be over 45 and historically I've been in the low 20s. well, since February, my HDL went from 30 to 38… Still below the 45 mark, but the highest we have ever seen it!
It's the Bordeaux wine, I tell you.
It's good… And good for you!
