2011 Cornas Les Barcillants

Les Vins de Vienne.
Medium dark red, with a nose that is a bit shy, but with time got black cherries, darkberries, purple flowers, light vanilla and light creosote. In mouth, very good fruity attack, on black cherries and black prunes, medium density with low acidity. Oak can be tasted too, with light spices and vanilla. Final of black licorice, ashes and fruit, with good tanins. An excellent Cornas, but that second bottle was singing less than the first one, opened not So long ago. TN:89-90.
