About the only white wines from Bordeaux that I could tolerate were his.

We had a lovely Reynon blanc a couple of months ago.

And I've enjoyed Clos Floridene -- infrequently -- but for more than 20 years.

Sad. A legend in dry white Bordeaux winemaking.

The Paper of Record has published his obituary

I hadn't realized his efforts were at Haura and Cantegril too, whose wines are often seen at Total Wine. I've never tried those but might try the whites.
